1st Lieutenant Frank L. Supercinski, Vietnam War Mr. Supercinski graduated from Texas A&M University where he was a member of ROTC. He finished law school at Baylor University, then entered the U.S. Army. In the Republic of South Vietnam he served as an intelligence officer, working closely with a Vietnamese village chief in fighting the Viet Cong. The war, his concern about the welfare of wife and children back home, and the daily threat of death weighed heavily upon him. After his tour of duty, Mr. Supercinski practiced law first in Dallas, and then in Longview, Texas.
