Mr. Boston grew up in the Texas Panhandle in a house full of love by slight of resources. He worked hard as a boy and teenager, and then was drafted into the U.S. Army and sent to Korea where he was assigned to the 32nd Infantry Regiment near the 38th Parallel between North and South Korea. Many other nations sent soldiers, among them Turks who were attached to his regiment. William is still astounded at their fighting spirit. William remained in Korea until the war ended. He worked in the insurance business as a career, He and his wife, Sharon Alexander Boston (who is deceased), had three children and three grandchildren.
